" Ozymandias”

" Ozymandias” is a sonnet written by the English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. Inside the poem, mcdougal meets a traveler by another region who talks about that he once saw a statue of Ramesses the truly amazing (also called Ozymandias), and on the basamento, the words " My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Appear on my performs, ye Mighty, and give up hope! ” appear. The words for the statue suggest that Ozymandias had achieved great and durable things during his reign, but the traveler further explains that almost everything around the sculpture had converted into nothing but yellow sand.

Inside the second and fourth type of the poem, Shelley establishes a slant rhyme making use of the word " stone” at the end of the second line as well as the word " frown” by the end of the fourth line. Although Ozymandias was a great king who achieved superb long-lasting issues for his kingdom during his rule, all of his achievements ultimately are transitive and momentary. What Ozymandias thought could outlive him and stay long-lasting changed into nothing but an endless land of sand.
