The story of Captain Steve Newton (slave trader)-
Chief John Newton started his life around the sea in 11 years of age, while cruising with his dad who was a merchant ship captain. Following his daddy retired via sailing Ruben Newton started to be part of the support and dished up on the H. M. H. Harwich in 1744. He found the living conditions not bearable and remaining service like a deserter. He was later captured, demoted, and publically ashamed. John was then converted over to function as an indentured servant over a slave deliver. The servant trader that he served severally beat him until he was preserved by a deliver captain that John's dad knew. It was a major turning point for Ruben as he received a fresh start with the new chief. John sailed with the brand new captain to get a little bit just before he started to be the captain of his own ship. John Newton became the captain in the Duke of Argyle that was an old deliver converted into a slaver (slave trading ship). Getting part of the servant trade John and his ship made trips across the Atlantic Ocean engaged in the triangular in shape trade. Captain Newton was a slave dealer but having been one of a couple of that actually appeared to have a conscience. He made sure the slaves had better living conditions and proper nourishment. Other boat captains would pile slaves in and just say the lost kinds were worth saving the money they would possess spent on doing things correctly. After that plea he thinks that Our god saved him and his ship. John continuing to be involved in the servant trade but continued to generate conditions better until this individual fell ill and had to retire from the trade in 1754. Ruben started to teach himself when he was sailing and had a genuine desire to find out. After his retirement by sea David started a spiritual life.
